Welcome to Kula Yoga and Wellness. Here you will find tips and other information to help make your experience, and the experience of your fellow yogis, a positive and welcoming one. 

  • Arrive on time, or even a bit early

    • It can be stressful to run into class as it’s beginning or after it’s started, and it is distracting for your fellow yogis. Be sure to arrive to the studio on time, giving yourself enough time to check in, put away your items, roll out your mat and take a few moments to find your breath before class begins.

    • We understand being late happens on occasion and do invite you to still join the class in the event this occurs.

  • Leave devices outside the studio

    • Cell phones and other electronics are distracting to the class and instructor. Please be sure to leave these items in the yoga lobby and on silent before class begins.

  • Minimize conversation

    • The studio is considered a space for reflection, self-study, and focus, and maintaining a quiet atmosphere supports this frame of mind. It’s not only polite, but it’s beneficial to your own state of mind.

    • Socializing after class is always welcome!

  • Children in class

    • We love that you want your kids to participate in yoga.  We welcome children ages 12 and up accompanied by an adult (1:1 ratio).  Please use your best judgement as to whether or not your child is mature enough to attend class. We aim to create a space that is a calm and relaxing retreat for adults and while we love youthful energy, we don’t want to lose this ambience.

    • As we grow, we will be adding more classes specifically designed for younger children, tweens, and teens as well as classes for parents and children to participate in together-- bear with us as it will take time to implement all of these new offerings!
